Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has made some changes in the 12th class board exam datesheet. Updated datesheet from CBSE official website cbse.gov.in Issued on. According to the revised timetable of CBSE’s 12th class, the exam which was to be conducted on April 4, 2023, will now be conducted on March 27, 2023. According to the official notice, no changes have been made in the datesheet of class 10th.
The practical exam to be conducted by the CBSE board will start from January 2, 2023. The board will conduct Urdu Elective, Sanskrit Elective, Carnatic Music Vocal and other exams on March 27 instead of April 4. In the notice issued by the board, it has been said that apart from the change in the dates of the 12th class exam to be held on April 4, there has been no change in the date of any other exam. It is worth noting that the datesheet for the 10th and 12th class board exams was released by the CBSE board on 29 December. Secondary exam i.e. 10th class exam will start from February 15, which is going to run till March 21, 2023. On the other hand, Senior Secondary Examination i.e. 12th class exam will start from 15th February. The board exams for class 12 students are going to run till April 5, 2023.
Board exams of class 10th and 12th will be conducted in subjective mode at exam centres. As per the official schedule, the roll numbers and admit cards will be issued by the board in January.

Whereas, the practical exams of CBSE board will be conducted from January 2 to February 14, 2023. Practical exams will be conducted for both class 10th and 12th. An external examiner will be appointed for the practical exam of class 12th.
CBSE issued a notice in this regard and said, ‘There is a possibility that a teacher may be appointed as an external examiner for more than one school. JEE Mains exam is also going to be conducted during the practical exam itself. In such a situation, there is a need for proper planning at the board level and also at the school level for the conduct of practical exam/project/internal assessment.
