Class 10th examination will start from February 2023 by the Central Board of Secondary Education i.e. CBSE Board. In such a situation, students applying for this exam are advised to start preparing from now itself. CBSE Board The sample paper, marking scheme and question bank for the 10th examination have been released on the official website cbse.gov.in. Students can see subject wise sample papers on the website.
The datesheet of CBSE 10th Exam has not been released at the moment. The board has said that the datesheet for the practical exam will be released before the main exam. There is still some time for the board exams to start. Here CBSE Board is giving important tips regarding English paper in class 10th exam.
CBSE 10th English Syllabus
There are three sections in the CBSE Board 10th English Language and Literature subject. Section A has 20 marks for Reading, Section B has 20 marks for Writing and Grammar and Section C has 40 marks for Literature. Before appearing in the examination, please check the syllabus on the website.
CBSE 10th English Tips
Reading Section- The first section in the 10th English paper is of reading. To score well in this, first check your ability to read and understand the passages. For this, practice at least 1-2 passages daily.
Writing and Grammar Section- In English paper, the second section is of writing and grammar. This is a scoring section. For the solid preparation of this section, students need to practice passages based on editing, gap filling and narration. The best way for this is to go to the website and solve sample papers.
Literature Section- This section is considered the best. To score brilliantly in this, it is necessary to read and understand all the poems of the books very well. Also remember the respective authors and poets. Long answer type four questions will be asked in this section. For this make sure to make notes while studying daily.
