There is good news for medical students. The government has given a big relief to the doctors who are completing MBBS. This news has come at a time when MBBS Final Year Students and Doctors Association FAIMA are protesting at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar. this doctor NEET PG 2023 Opposing the exam date. Their demand is that the NEET PG exam 2023 should be postponed and the date of the exam should be extended. Amidst all this, the Union Health Ministry has issued a new notice regarding Medical Internship.
The Health Ministry has extended the deadline for MBBS aspirants to complete one year of compulsory internship. Earlier, where the last date for completing medical internship was June 30, now it has been changed to August 11. Earlier on January 13, the NEET Internship Completion Date was extended from March 31 to June 30.
What will be the benefit of increasing MBBS internship date?
In this regard, National Board of Examination ie NBE has issued a notice. In this, NBEMS has written, ‘As per the notice dated 13 January of NBEMS and the instructions of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, the deadline for completion of internship for the purpose of eligibility for NEET PG 2023 is being extended to 11 August.’
Considering the future of more than 13,000 MBBS students across 5 States/UTs who were not eligible for #NEET PG 2023 exam due to delayed internship, MoHFW has decided to extend last date of completion of internship for eligibility to 11th Aug 2023.

The Health Ministry has said in a tweet that ‘with this decision, 13,000 MBBS students from 5 states and union territories will lose their eligibility for NEET PG.’
NEET PG 2023 Application is starting again
The notice states that candidates completing their internship from July 1 to August 11 can apply for NEET PG from February 9 to February 12. Provided that you also fulfill the other eligibility.
NEET PG Exam 2023 is to be held on 5 March. But there is a demand of the candidates that the exam date should be extended in May.
