Indian Oil Corporation
Indian Oil Corporation has announced to start production of fuel for Formula 1 (F1) cars within three months, which will be the symbol of Indian oil companies in the F1 championship. This had not been done before by any Indian company. Fuel for F1 cars will be produced at Paradip Refinery in Odisha, which is known for its advanced technology. Let us tell you that this announcement has been made by IOCL Chairman Shrikant Madhav Vaidya.
IOC became the first Indian company
The IOC will provide fuel for motorcycle road racing championships in Asian countries under its brand new fuel series Storm. IOC Chairman Shrikant Madhav Vaidya said that today we are partnering with the FIM Asia Road Racing Championship for the supply of 'Storm'. We are the first company in India to manufacture a special type of fuel used in road racing. He also said that the company will get a certificate to develop special fuel for Formula One cars within three months.

15 countries will get this fuel
The collaboration includes Indian Oil providing FIM Category 2 race fuel, “Storm-Ultimate Racing Fuel” at all Asia Road Racing Championship rounds. Fuel will be provided by the company for all the motorcyclists from the 15 countries participating in the FIM Asia Road Racing Championship. STORM is one of the products provided by IOCL in its recently launched series of fuels for motor racing vehicles, which also includes AVGas 100LL fuel.
