The country’s first semi-high-speed regional rail service ‘Namo Bharat’ running between Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut has started. Currently it is running only between Sahibabad and Duhai depot, but this is a big achievement for India’s public transport sector. Do you know that one wire of this rapid rail is connected to the richest woman of the country, and the other wire is connected to the household utensils. Let us know this…
This section of Delhi-Meerut Rapid Rail was inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. This project fulfills his dream of ‘Make in India’ and ‘Self-reliant India’. This project is going to bring revolution in the railway sector of India.
Rapid rail is made of stainless steel
‘Namo Bharat’ Rapid Rail is completely made of stainless steel. 600 tons of stainless steel was used to make it. The utensils used in your house are made from this stainless steel. Link to the country’s richest woman
JSW Steel has supplied steel to make these trains. Its chairperson Savitri Jindal is the richest woman in the country. Quoting Abhyudaya Jindal, MD of Jindal Stainless Steel, Financial Express has reported that the company has completed 25 years of working for the Railway Department of the Government of India. It is a matter of pride for us that we have supplied steel for the country’s first rapid rail.
The reason for making ‘Namo Bharat’ from stainless steel is that it is not only strong but also light in weight. Due to light weight, it can reach a speed of 160 km per hour. This makes the train very energy efficient.
