Skoda has increased the prices of the Slavia for the first time since its launch. The company has increased the price of this mid-size segment sedan by up to Rs 60,000. This price has been increased according to different variants. After this increase, now the ex-showroom price of the base model of the new Slavia has gone up to Rs 10.99 lakh. The ex-showroom price of the top model of this car is Rs 18.39 lakh.
How much did the price increase in June
In May, the company had announced a price increase. This increase will start from June for the customers. The Slavia is being offered in three different models. Their names are Active, Ambition and Style. Skoda is offering its customers in two engine options. One is with a 1 liter unit and the other with a 1.5 liter unit. The prices of the Active and Ambition models of Slavia have been increased by 30 thousand rupees.
Talking about the style variants, the company has increased the price of 1 liter engine by up to 40 thousand rupees. Whereas the price of 1.5 liter petrol variant has been increased by 60 thousand rupees. After the increase in this price, the company has not made any kind of increase in the features. These prices have been increased only due to increase in manufacturing price. This decision of the company can prove to be a big setback for the customers.
