Mahindra Scorpio Classic S5: Mahindra Scorpio Classic introducing a new variant of Classic S5 which is called Classic S And Classic S11 Will be between trims. According to the report, Scorpio Classic S5 The variant will come with three seating configurations. There are 7 seater with bench, 7 seater with captain chairs and 9 seater with bench.
This is a huge improvement over the current offering where only two of the three options are available depending on the variant. Apart from this, according to reports, the Classic S11 will now also include a 9 seater configuration option.
Mahindra Scorpio Classic S5: Details
- The upcoming Classic S5 variant of the Scorpio is likely to be powered by the same gen 2 mHawk 2.2L turbo diesel engine that produces 132 horsepower and 300Nm of torque.
- It will be mated to a 6-speed manual transmission and will be a rear-wheel-drive vehicle. However, unlike the previous gen model, the Scorpio Classic does not offer an automatic gearbox or a 4×4 option.
- Currently, the Mahindra Scorpio Classic is available in the price range of Rs 12.64 lakh to Rs 16.14 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
- The price of the upcoming Classic S5 variant is likely to be around Rs 14 lakh. In this case, the gap between the Classic S and Classic S11 trims will be filled.
- The average waiting period for the present models is around 6 months.
