Mahindra Armado ALSV: Another major achievement has been registered in the Indian Defense Sector. The country’s well-known corporate group Mahindra Group has handed over the new armored vehicle Armado to the Indian Army. Mahindra Defense Systems (MDS) launched the country’s first armored car has been made. The Mahindra Armado is the first armored vehicle to be completely made in India. Mahindra Group Chairman Anand Mahindra announced the commencement of deliveries of the Armado. It is an Armored Light Specialist Vehicle (ALSV), developed for the Indian Armed Forces.

Mahindra Armado: Five big things
Let us now see the capability of Mahindra Armado, how this armored vehicle can neutralize the attacks of the enemies.
- It is a completely indigenous armored vehicle. It has seating area for 5 people. Apart from this, this vehicle can carry 400 kg weight separately apart from 1000 kg capacity.
- Mahindra’s modular vehicle can be used for anti-terrorist operations, raids or reconnaissance in open and desert areas, border patrolling, carrying weapons, etc. Special Forces and Quick Reaction Teams can also use it for their missions.
- It gets B7 level and SATNAG level 2 ballistic protection. This means that the armored vehicle protects against armour-piercing rifles. Apart from this, ASLV protects from ballistic and explosives from all sides.
- Mahindra’s 4 wheeler armored vehicle gets the power of a 3.2 liter multi fuel diesel engine. Apart from this, a 6-speed automatic gearbox is available, which sends power to the wheels through a dedicated 4×4 system.
- This powerful armored vehicle can accelerate from 0 to 60 kmph in just 12 seconds. Apart from this, the Made-in-India armored vehicle can hit enemies with a top speed of 120 kilometers per hour.
A self-recovery winch with a central-type inflating system and a high-level all-wheel independent suspension are special features of the ALSV.
