Tata Motors has started his new fledgling electric SUV Harrier EV's booking from July 2. Interested buyers can book this car with a token money of only 21 thousand rupees. The Harrier is EV Tata's largest electric car, which was launched on 6 June. This SUV is available in a total of 5 variants, which has an option of adventure, adventure-s, fearless planner, imparked and impared AWD. The price of Harrier EV starts from ₹ 21.49 lakh to ₹ 30.23 lakhs.
Tata Harrier EV is an AWD Electric SUV, which can also be used for off roading. Harrier EV is now the first electric car and is currently the only car of Tata Motors with AWD systems. The Harrier EV is available with two battery packs and two motor options.
Tata Harrier EV's range
The Base version of Harrier EV is equipped with 65 kWh battery packs and the top trim version of Harrier EV is equipped with 75 kWh battery pack. The 75 kwh battery pack variant has two drivetrain variants, such as RWD and QWD. RWD models generate 235 bhp and 315 Nm of torque, while QWD models generate 391 bhp and 504 Nm of torque. These variants can give a range of up to 627 km. The 65 kwh battery pack comes with a just 538 km MIDC range
Tata Harrier EV's features
Tata Harrier EV's interior is similar to the diesel version. It still has dual-tone cabin, but the interior finish vary from the selected variants. It has a 14.5 -inch Samsung Neo QLED touchscreen infotainment screen updated with a 10.25 -inch digital instrument screen. Wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay is found in the infotainment system. Other major updates inside the cabin have a new rotary dial to choose from six different Terrain Mode-Normal, Sand, Mud Rats, Snow/Grass, Rock Crol and Custom.
Design of Harrier EV
The design of Harrier EV is similar to the petrol-diesel Harrier EV, but some changes have been made according to the electric model. For example, it has a closed grill at the front, which usually lives in all electric vehicles. The front bumper has been given a slightly new design with vertical satin silver slats to cool parts like battery pack and motor. The side profile of Harrier EV is also similar to the Ice model. There are some differences in this. The EV version of the mid-size SUV has a large 18-inch alloy wheels.
