The Nitish Kumar government of Bihar has introduced many schemes to make the fisheries sector of the state self -reliant. The benefit of these schemes is being given by the Directorate of Fisheries of Animal and Fisheries Resources Department. A plan of diversification of fisheries has been started under the golden opportunity of indigenous fisheries for fisheries farmers of the state.
The Bihar government has said that the objective of this scheme is to provide seeds from the developed minor carp and cat fish in the state's watershed and to provide seeds to farmers at proper rates by producing seeds from technical technology and promoting fisheries.
Increase farmers' income purpose
It has been told by the Directorate of Fisheries that the aim of this scheme is to promote, promote, conservation and enhancement of minor carp and air-lore fish, as well as fisheries productivity and annual income of farmers. This will strengthen the rural economy. Under this scheme, 60 percent subsidy of the prescribed unit cost is being given to the beneficiaries of all classes.
The remaining amount will be borne by the beneficiary himself or from the bank loan. In the four categories in which the grant is given under the scheme of diversification of fisheries species, the first category is Rs 13.12 lakh per unit including unit cost input on the installation of Minor Carpa Hatchery. The second category catfish is planned for Rs 15.37 lakh per unit with a unit cost input on installation of Catfish, the third category Minor Carp Parent Most Most Most Most Most Most Carp Farmers.
How much benefit per family?
In this, Rs 0.94 thousand per unit including unit cost input. In the fourth category, there is a plan of fisheries to follow CAT fish and other fish, in which the unit cost is Rs 1.35 lakh per unit.
