By winning the title of IPL 2025, the long wait for Royal Challengers Bangalore definitely ended, but since then the troubles of the team are not ending. This franchise has been in trouble since the death of 11 people in a stampede in the celebration of Bangalore winning the IPL title. The case has been done on the team officials and in an investigation, the franchise is held at first sight. After all this, now the Board of Control for Cricket in India has also sought a response from Bangalore regarding this incident.

RCB defeated Punjab Kings in the final of IPL 2025 played in Ahmedabad on 3 June. With this, in the history of 18 years of the league, Bengaluru ended his wait by winning the title for the first time. The next day i.e. on June 4, the team's house i.e. Bangalore city celebrated victory. During this time, where the government honored the team in the first Vidhan Sabha, the team reached the Chinnaswamy Stadium after some time, where the trophy was celebrated. However, during this time, a large number of fans were present outside the stadium, due to which there was a stampede and 11 people died, while many were injured.

Since then, RCB is constantly under question. While separate action is going on against the franchise, now the Lokpal of BCCI has also taken a big step in this matter. Lokpal Justice (Retired) Arun Mishra has sent a notice to RCB and Karnataka State Cricket Association and asked to file his reply regarding this entire incident. The Lokpal has sought this reply after a complaint of neglect and negligence of security standards on the franchise and State Association.

After this accident, BCCI also took a big decision a few days ago. In the BCCI's Apex Council meeting held in June, the board formed a committee, which will create guidelines for such celebrations in future. This committee of the board consists of Secretary Devjit Psychia, Vice President Rajiv Shukla and Treasurer Prabhtej Singh Bhatia. They will soon submit their recommendation, which will be implemented as a guidance in future not only IPL, but also to celebrate the victory of any tournament.
