The ODI series between India and Bangladesh is to be held in August and now discussions about the postponement of this series have started. According to reports, the Government of India has not yet approved this series, due to which this series may have to be scheduled for another time. If this happens, it is bad news for the fans of Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli because both these players have retired from Test and T20 format and now both play in ODI formats. The postponement of the ODI series against Bangladesh means that both the fans may have to wait more to see again in the field.

Will the India-Bangladesh series be postponed?

India has to go on a tour of Bangladesh in August but the Government of India has not yet given this series. The Bangladesh Cricket Board official said on the issue that this series may be postponed but it is impossible to cancel it. Bangladesh Board official said that this series is part of the ICC Future Tour program in which three ODIs and three T20s will be played, this series is to start in Dhaka from August 17. But the relationship between Bangladesh and India is not as good as before and that is now the danger of not being at the right time of this series.

BCCI is waiting for government approval

The BCCI has not yet commented on the matter, but according to media reports, the board is waiting for the approval of the Government of India. There have been many violent incidents in Bangladesh in the last few months, especially the reports of targeting people of a religion and that is why nothing has been clear on this matter so far. However, after these violent incidents, Bangladesh team came on a tour of India in which it played two Tests and two T20 matches.
