Uncle gave losses
On 15 June 2025, a private phone call between Shinavatra and Hun Sen was made, a part of which was leaked. In this call, Shinavatra addressed Hun Sen as 'uncle' and showed himself as his 'niece', which shows a long -standing personal friendship between his family and Hun Sen.
Then this call was leaked and the 'uncle' Hun Sen who leagged it out of it came out. This call made on June 15 was recorded by former Cambodia leader Hun Sen. He recorded this 17 -minute conversation and shared it with about 80 Cambodian officials. A 9 minute part of this recording was leaked, after which Hun Sen made the entire 17 -minute recording public on his Facebook page. After this, the countdown of Shinavatra started.
Why did Shinavatra say 'uncle'?
Actually Shinavatra's father and former Thailand President Thakasin Shinavatra was a friend of the Cambodian leader. This friendship had been going on for many years and was close to personal and political level between the two leaders. Because of this, he was called an uncle by Partangatarn Shinavatra.
