The player of the Silver Medal winning men's hockey team of Asian Games 2022 is currently hospitalized in Ranchi. He fainted while working on his farm in his village, after which he was taken to Simdega Hospital and from there he was sent to Ranchi for treatment. These players are former Indian midfielder Bimal Lakra. Bimal Lakra's health suddenly deteriorated and he fainted. Let me tell you, Lakra was also a member of the Asia Cup gold-winning teams in 2003 and 2007 and his siblings Birendra Lakra Senior and Asunanta have also participated in the men and women category from India.
Now Bimal Lakra is better than before
Hockey India general secretary Bhola Nath Singh said, “They are now stable.” Talking to PTI, he said, 'The Sports Minister of Jharkhand met him today and has assured all possible help. In Hockey India, we wish him to recover soon. Not only this, he tweeted on his official social media account before, 'Former international hockey player Bimal Lakra has been referred to Ranchi for better treatment due to serious injury. Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren has given all kinds of treatment instructions and Jharkhand's Sports Minister visited the hospital to meet Bimal Lakra and inquired about his health.
Giving Bimal Lakra's health update, Dr. Sanjay Kumar said, 'When he was brought to our hospital, he was unconscious. We scanned his CT scan, in which injury appeared in front of his brain… there was a clot… we admitted him to the ICU. We got their CT scan again and some additional clots were seen in other parts of the brain. At present, there is no need for surgery and this is good news. We have kept them under constant supervision in Critical Care Unit. The condition of the patient is a little better than before.

Taking the matter seriously, Chief Minister Hemant Soren has directed Health Minister Dr. Irfan Ansari to ensure all possible help in his treatment. The Chief Minister wrote on the X platform, “The state government is fully committed to the treatment of hockey player Bimal Lakra. The government will take responsibility for their treatment and care.” On the instructions of the Chief Minister, State Government Minister Sudivya Kumar Sonu reached the hospital and discussed the situation of Vimal with the doctors. He assured the family of all possible help.
