In today's time, where social media is used for entertainment. On the other hand, using this social media, many people are working to raise their voice and bring their demands to the government. The same has emerged in Madhya Pradesh. Lali Sahu, the social media influencer of Madhya Pradesh, has demanded about the roads. Leela Sahu is a pregnant and in such a situation it is becoming difficult for him to go to the hospital due to raw roads.
8 pregnant women of a village in Sidhi district of Madhya Pradesh demanded a basic need on social media. He demanded a paved road from the government to reach the hospitals. Leela Sahu has made videos with 7 more pregnant women. In this video, he has directly tagged the minister Nitin Gadkari. However, this is not the first time that Leela Sahu had raised his voice for paved roads, even before he raised his voice for paved roads in the year 2023, but the road was not constructed. After this, now he has raised this issue again during his pregnancy days.
Pregnant women demand road
This video has been made by the women of Khadi Khurd village in Madhya Pradesh. There are no paved roads in the village and in the last days of the pregnancy, women often have to pass through mud, bumpy raw paths to reach the hospital. But even after this protest, action was not taken immediately.
Leela Sahu, who has more than one lakh followers on all the platforms, uploaded a video tagging Prime Minister Modi and Union Minister Nitin Gadkari in the year 2023, stating that you won all 29 MPs from Madhya Pradesh. Can we get the road now? After that video went viral, the direct collector and MP of Sidhi promised immediate action. But no action was taken even after a year. The road is where it was. Without construction, unsafe, and disappear from the eyes of development.
MP's reaction on viral video revealed
However, once again Leela Sahu has raised this demand again. Now after this video surfaced, BJP MP Rajesh Mishra said, there is a date of every delivery. We will complete it a week before him. He further said, if he wants, then come to us. We will give them all facilities. Food, water, care. But it is not an ideal thing to talk about these things publicly.
Instead of accepting the demand for a year on a year -long demand, the MP said, “Has there been any such incident (problem in delivery) till date?” We have helicopters and airplanes when needed. We have ASHA workers. We have ambulances. What is the matter of concern?
The MP said that the construction work has been delayed due to the objections of the forest department, but did not tell any time limit for the start of the project or completion.
What did the Public Works Minister say?
Two days ago, Public Works Department Minister Rakesh Singh had said, if someone posts a post on social media, will we reach with a dumper or cement concrete plant? This is not possible. Singh further argued that the budget is limited and every demand on the online post cannot be resolved. He further said, there are constitutional processes. If this is a rural road, it depends on which agency is responsible. We cannot take action on every post.
