Today, on the third day of the announcement of state presidents, BJP has announced the names of state presidents in 2 states. With this, the number of newly appointed BJP state presidents has now increased to 24. This number of newly elected state presidents will increase to 25 tomorrow. This is more than 19 required for the national president to start the election process. According to internal sources in the party, the election of BJP's national president will be held only when internal elections will be completed in major states like Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, Karnataka, Delhi and Haryana.
Hemant Khandelwal, who belongs to the Vaishya class in Madhya Pradesh, an important state from the point of view of the organization, was made the chairman, while in Ladakh, Tashi Gayalsan Khachu has been made the state president.
Today nomination has also been done for the post of West Bengal Pradesh BJP President. The nomination of the old leader, Rajya Sabha MP and state chief spokesperson Shamik Bhattacharya has been enrolled today.

Today, Bharatiya Janata Party Rajya Sabha MP Samik Bhattacharya filed nomination for the post of West Bengal BJP President. Bhattacharya said that the party leadership had asked him to file nomination, which he followed.
He said, “I have nothing to say now. The process is still going on. It is not yet over. The party leadership asked me to file nominations and I did so. The results are yet to come.”
In West Bengal, Leader of Opposition Shubhendu Adhikari and current West Bengal BJP chief and Union Minister Sukant Majumdar was also present with Bhattacharya. According to party sources, the appointment of state presidents of West Bengal and Odisha is also likely to be in the next few days.

The BJP had announced the president in 6 states including Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Maharashtra, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh and Andaman on Tuesday, while the state presidents were announced in two states Mizoram and Puducherry on the last Monday.
