Artisan is seen stealing in CCTV
The artisan working in a jewelery shop in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh ran away with gold. The artisan ran away with 150 grams of gold in his mouth. Karigar, who ran with 150 grams of gold, costs 15 lakh rupees. This entire incident of theft by the accused has been captured in CCTV. The name of the aggrieved jeweler is Shumbhakar Samanta. His Chowk is a jewelery shop in Garg Market at Sarafa.
The name of the accused artisan is Sujit Samtanta. He is a resident of Mednipur in West Bengal. This incident is being reported on 9 July. The victim jeweler went to the accused's house, but he could not be found. His phone was also found closed. Then the victim jeweler Shumbhakar gave a complaint against the accused to the Kotwali police on 12 July.
What did the victim tell?
The aggrieved jeweler told that the accused Sujit Samata came to work on his dukaan four months ago. He went to his village on 29 May. Before going to the village, he gave 150 grams of gold, which is priced at Rs 15 lakh, Sujit had given Sujit to make coil and locket. On the evening of 9 July, he called another artisan Raghunath Adhikari. Then he came to know that Sujit has run away.
Action being taken in the case
At the same time, in this whole case, Kotwali in -charge Jagdish Pandey has told that the victim Shubhankar Samvada has given a complaint. A case has been registered on the basis of Tahrir. Action is being taken in the case. Two teams have been formed to catch the accused. Police teams are searching for the accused. The victim has also handed over CCTV footage to the police. The accused will be arrested as soon as possible.
The CCTV footage given by the businessman to the police is one and a half minutes. Sujit is seen stealing gold in it. Sujit is seen working first in CCTV. After this, he picks up the gold with the right hand and keeps it in the left hand and closes the fist. Then the remaining gold, he runs away from the shop after filling it in his mouth.
