The video capturing his shameful act follows the complaint of the lady. It quickly went viral on social media, where people demanded the immediate suspension of the accused. Viral video is again unveiling the shameful condition of workplace safety for women.
Female Employee Shows Courage to Capture Everything
The female employee gathers the courage to expose the senior SBI Service Manager red-handed. The viral clip, shared by Nikhil Saini on his X page and also posted by Live Times TV on Instagram, shows the entire misconduct of her male senior. We can see the middle-aged man repeatedly touching his junior inappropriately, behaving as if it were completely normal.
He did not know that the girl was capturing his shameful act on her mobile. We could see him touching her legs, waist, and then her hands while helping her with account numbers. The video also reveals his face, and then the girl comes out to declare the issue.
She claims that “Mein iske paas baith vhi nehi sakti, gande gande haath lagata rehta hein mere sareer ko“. The initial report states that the victim has filed an official complaint with the police, citing this video evidence.
Viral Video Grows Public Outrage on Social Media
As this clip goes viral on the internet, people come out with anger against such workplace sexual harassment. People go on with the demand, “Should be terminated with immediate effect,” claiming that “Indian work culture everywhere is beyond toxic. Zero professionalism“.
One user indicated the infamous non-cooperation of SBI employees with a taunt that, “Tabhi lunch ke baad bulate hain ! Ye neech harqaton mai jo vyast rehte hain 😌“. By looking at the way the manager kept on touching her, one user said,” Offence is serious. Not accidental but intentional and repetitive. No bail should be allowed“. Girls are also appreciating the female employee for showing courage in reporting this incident.
Reflecting this, one user says, “I’m glad women are coming out !!!! Saying we got harassed, Speak out“. There is no shame in pointing out if anything this happens. Only being vocal against such can stop these workplace harassments.
Is This the Wakeup Call for Safer Workplace Conditions?
The lady has filed a complaint with the Himachal police, and they are taking necessary actions. But such acts inside the main nationalised bank of India are shameful.
The fact that this is not a stray case is influencing the mindset of certain males, who consider such lewd acts to be normal. Gender-sensitive training and fast harassment actions need to be practised within every public and private sector to provide a safe working space for women.
