Means mango orchards are spread in about 5500 hectares in Shahabadi and more than 100 varieties of mango trees are planted in these orchards, which give fruit every year. Shahabadi mangoes of these varieties are in demand across the country
Mangoes grown in Shahbad are exported from Delhi, Mumbai to abroad as well. Regarding the mangoes grown here, former MLA Asif Khan Babbu says that there is a lot of demand across the country for the special mangoes of Shahabadi like Gulab Khas, Dussehri, Parrot Pari, Husn Ara, Chausa, Janardan Prasad, Sugar Chini. On the other hand, District Horticulture Officer Suresh Kumar says that Parrot Pari and Husn Ara, as well as roses born in Shahbad, are beautiful as well as delicious. These are very much liked in metros like Mumbai and Delhi along with all the common Dussehri.
Demand to set up Mango Research Center

Shahabadi mango is exported here and there
Giving information about the export of Shahabadi Mango, Shahabad Mandi Secretary says that mangoes are exported from this region to Madhya Pradesh, Mumbai, Delhi, Haryana, Punjab and Bihar. He told that this time very good yield of mango is being seen. In such a situation, this time also the business of mango is expected to be better. At the same time, District Horticulture Inspector Hariom says that from time to time, a campaign is run by the government to give special information about the improved varieties of mangoes.
