The speed of vehicles running on DND-KMP Expressway in Faridabad district of Haryana will now be held with new technology. The speed of vehicles running on the expressway will now be kept with AI CCTV cameras. For this, the traffic police of the district is planning to install CCTV cameras containing AI on DND-KMP Expressway from the National Highway Authority of India.
It is worth mentioning that Faridabad is known as the city of Industrial. After Gurugram in the district, the maximum number of 16 lakh small and big vehicles run in the entire Haryana. Delhi-Agra National Highway, DND-KMP Expressway, KGP Kundli Expressway and Faridabad-Gurugram State Highway are passing from here. All of these make people travel. Vehicles have been running on DND-KMP Expressway since November 12 last year.
Vehicles run at higher speeds on the expressway
Those who have to go from Noida, Greater Noida, Delhi to Ballabhgarh, Palwal, Agra, Rajasthan easily go from Delhi via Kalindi Kunj and easily go through the expressway. In such a situation, there is a lot of crowd of vehicles on the DND-KMP Expressway. Not only this, people run vehicles at a higher speed than the speed of vehicles on this expressway. Due to this, accidents are also happening.
CCTV cameras will be seen speed of vehicles
In such a situation, the police officers have said that modern arrangements have been made to check the speed of vehicles on the DND-KMP Expressway. Apart from checking the speed with the interceptor machine at various places, the speed of vehicles will also be monitored with AI CCTV cameras, so the National Highway Authority of India will be demanded to install CCTV camera which are capable of measuring speed.
