Kailas-Mansarovar Yatra
After five years, the Kailas-Mansarovar Yatra has started again. On the other hand, China has also sent a batch of fifty devotees. There is also a journalist friend in it. Everyone's experiences are coming in pieces. Today Kailas is in the possession of China. Our deity's house is in the possession of China. Anyway, it has never been a part of India after independence. Stayed in Tibet but now Tibet is no longer in Tibet. Kailas is an important pillar of the cultural-spiritual border of India and India, not a part of the map of modern India. There cannot be talk of India without Shiva and Shiva without Kailas.
Kailas is considered to be the world's navel or the focal point of the world. It is also considered to be the center of celestial poles and geographical poles. It is said that this is the point where the sky comes from the earth. Ten directions also meet here. Shiva and Parvati also met here. The Rudralok of Lord Shiva is also in the universe above Mount Kailas. This is the door to heaven. The sound of ॐ echoes here. Along with the Mount Kailas, there is Mount Meru which is said in Shri Krishna Gita that in the mountains I am Mount Meru.
So why not take you on a journey now. Kailas Yatra. I did this journey a few years ago. Then he habitually recorded him. Actually, I had curiosity in my mind that what is the relationship between Kashi and Kailas? Why do Mahadev, the god of the gods, like Kailas so much? There was a desire to see this Nandan-Kanan Kailas of sages and sages since childhood. Ever since he was born in Kashi, when he took his senses, he thought that if Shiva lives on Kailas, what does he do in Kashi? In my journey to find answers to these questions, I am also making you my co -passenger from today. And co -passengers do not only see, feel. They reach there. If I could do this, then my Kailas trip is successful. So let's go on a trip to Kailas, with Shiva's discussion and references.
Kailas: A
Kailas means heaven. And Kashi, where he goes to heaven only by dying. This is the eternal relationship between Kashi and Kailas. The resolve to go to Kailas, this was the relationship at the core, that is, I had to go to heaven. But without dead. Not everyone can go. One has to go to call there. Nobody went to our family. Relationships did not even go. Nobody had even imagined that Shaktar could be visited there. So for me it was not just a journey, but a journey. An event to go to memories of the past. The sacrifice of the ancestors. The pleasure of being heavenly won. So we had to go to Kailas.
From the beginning of the universe, Shiva is the only deity whose continuity remains. They either live on Kailas or in the crematorium, and Kashi- this is a greatness. Shiva is his ruler. Through this wire, a combination of Kashi and Kailas is formed. Shiva is at the core of both. One is heaven and the other is the way to go to heaven. I was looking for this bridge for a long time.
The stroller tendency, desire to know the country and society had been increasing the impulse of going to Kailas for years. There were many curiosities in the mind. Shankar lives there. The sources of all rivers are there. The largest store of fresh water on earth is there. Flags are found there. My grandmother used to call Kailas a dream-like in childhood. Mansarovar is also a wonderful secret-Lok in the foothills of Kailas. Changing the position of the sun several times a day changes the color of Mansarovar.
Rishi-Muni and Devgan come here to bathe in Brahma-Muhurta in the morning. Rinpoche ji also remembered Kailas with as much reverence as he had in Lord Buddha. In Banaras, Rinpoche ji (Samdang) was the Prime Minister of the exiled government of Tibet. While living in Banaras, our house often used to come and go. They do not get tired of telling the supernatural beauty of Kailas. In childhood, my understanding of Buddhism was also made through him. The rest of the remaining was explained by the stroller socialist Krishnath ji. He had a deep understanding on Tibet, Kailas and Buddhism.
Walk without thinking
It is said that Brahma lives in Brahmaloka, Vishnu in Baikuntha and Shiva lives on Kailas. While alive we can neither go to Brahmalok nor Baikuntha. Only Kailas can be visited. Shiva is etc., so going to Kailas has to find your roots. Have to go to the origin of the Ganges. To sit on the lap of Kshir Sagar. Our Banarasi relationship with Shiva and Ganga was pulling us towards Kailas.
Friends warned that the journey is difficult. Think once more before leaving. But my resolve was. I have got to go. Thought, let me write my will, so that if something goes wrong, people do not have trouble. Then came the idea, if this is the acceptance of them, then why should I write? We walked without thinking- for the world's most beautiful and inaccessible journey. In search of Shiva, towards a primitive and infinite memory. With the belief that Kailas is the Mount Meru, which is the axis of the universe.
In our faith, Kailas, Shiva and Parvati are inhabited. In Buddhism, it is considered to be a place for Bodhisattas to land on the earth. Kailas is the nirvana-site of Rishabhdev, the first Tirthankara of Jainism. It is also called Ashtapada because Jain believes that Rishabhdev revolved around in eight steps.
In Buddhism, the supernatural form of Buddha is found only on Damchak Kailas. This form of Buddha is called Dharampal. Buddhist Kailas is called Kang Rinpoche. Kang Rinpoche means attainment of spiritual happiness. It is believed in Tibet that Lord Buddha came near Mansarovar in the womb of Maharani Maya. Bonpao was the religion of Tibetans before Buddha. According to him, Kailas was a nine-storey swastika peak, through which his creed-promoter landed on the earth. The waves of divine peace and spirituality arise around this mountain. Whatever his belief, it can be felt comfortable in the circumambulation of Kailas.
Description of Kailas in Ramayana-Mahabharata
First the sage Mandhata came to this holy land. Adi Shankaracharya left his body on Kailas. Guru Nanak Devji has also focused on this mountain. Swaminarayan of Swaminarayan sect was interviewed by God here. He reached here directly from Chhapia village of Gonda in Uttar Pradesh.
There is a description of Kailas in Ramayana and Mahabharata. Ravana worshiped Shiva at this place. He wanted to pick up the Kailas mountain and take it with him. Shiva seduced and prevented him from doing so. Arjuna also got austerity on this mountain and obtained a Pashupat weapon from Lord Shankar. Yudhishthira went to heaven from here. At that time, one by one, all his companions were left in the way of Kailas. Only his dog was able to go with him. Bhasmasura was consumed here. Lord Shiva gave him the boon of touching anyone by touching it. As soon as he got a boon, he ran towards Shiva. Shiva had to run to save his life. Mansarovar, composed by the psyche of Brahma, is here.
Distracted by the death of his wife, when Lord Shankar was walking around with the body of Sati, Sati's hand fell here, there is a story that Mansarovar Lake was made from it. At that time Shiva was wandering deranged with anger. Seeing their anger, the gods felt that there would be great destruction now. Brahma sent Vishnu behind him, so that Sati's body should somehow be separated from him. The plan was made that the parts of Sati should be mounted, because the wrath of Shiva was not getting calm during the dead body. Therefore, this place is also included in Shaktipeeths.
There are only Shiva who does not die
There was never a mountaineering on Kailas. People do not climb this mountain peak, only it revolves around it. The climbing mountain is Everest. Hence Everest is a symbol of competition and Kailas Shraddha. This mountain is revered. How to put a foot on it? There is fear of Shiva. They are destroyers. If not, there will be chaos in the world. The rest of the gods keep dying, only Shiva who do not die. They are pleased with a lot of water and two bilva letters. A gross atheist also goes to Kailas and bows down.
But the vision of civilization is now getting rude. Relative to nature. Nature is now feeling the pain of expanding man. Now the black shadow of civilization has also started falling on Mansarovar. This lake is shrinking. This holy lake of 410 square kilometers has shrunk for 12 kilometers. China has built roads on his chest. Consider it as an anger of nature. If Kalidas had been there, he would have seen what happened to his Himalayas. Is this the same Himalayas, which is described in Raghuvansh and Kumarasambhava. Civilization has reached there, so there is terrible uproar in the divine shape of the Himalayas.
I kept watching this uproar in my journey with a witness. The ultimate goal of coming to Kailas on one side and the immense suffering of Mansarovar's drying up on the other side. The front links of my travelogue will move forward between these two experiences. With the sequel, we will go on a trip to Kailas… Jai Jai!
