NCB action at Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport
Heroin worth Rs 24 crore has been seized from an African national by NCB at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport. According to the information, these drugs have been found from the bag of the accused.
NCB Mumbai (NCB MumbaiChhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport (Airport) on 3.980 kg heroin worth Rs 24 crore from a South African national (heroine) confiscated. Further investigation is on in the matter. At the same time, a few days ago, the customs team recovered heroin worth 6 crores at Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport. It was brought in the form of a powder inside a capsule. A Ugandan citizen has been arrested in this case. Action has been taken against the allegation in the case under the NDPS Act. After arresting the customs team got the accused tested for 9 days.
After this 99 capsules came out of his stomach. The citizen of Ugandan had left for India via Sharjah. While crossing the Green Channel, the Customs team searched the youth and the luggage. But nothing suspicious was found. When the medical test was done, it was found that there was a suspicious substance inside its body. After this, medical tests were done for 9 days and 99 capsules were recovered inside its stomach.
About 4 kg heroin recovered
