In the first two weeks of SIR started in the state, 7.90 crore forms were printed and more than 97 percent forms (77044990) have been distributed to voters. Also, 18.16 percent forms have been uploaded in ECINET. A large number of potential voters are submitting calculation forms with the eligible documents specified in the order issued in the order issued. 20603 BLO appointment at the ground level
In the last 24 hours i.e. till 6 pm on Monday evening, 8278617 calculation forms have been collected, which is 10.5 percent of the forms collected in a day. With the appointment of 20603 BLO at the ground level, the work of collecting the form has also gained momentum. Already 77895 BLOs are going door-to-door helping voters to fill their calculation form and collect them. The BLO has already completed the first tour of its compulsory three visits in each house and the second tour is still going on.
4 lakh volunteers handled the front
The Commission has said that about 4 lakh volunteers, including government officials, NCC cadets, NSS members in the SIR process. All these people are helping the elderly, disabled, sick and weak people and facilitated filling the form. Apart from this, all 243 AC, 963 AERO, 38 DEO and EROs covering the state CEO are helping voters to submit their forms at the ground level.
At the same time, the district presidents of all recognized political parties have also gained momentum in the appointment of BLA and they are actively participating at the ground level. 156626 BLAs have been appointed till Mangwar, while 138680 BLA was appointed at the beginning of this process. Political parties can still appoint BLA.
