Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath had promised to give a bonus of 10-10 thousand rupees to the driver and conductors during the Mahakumbh, which he has completed within 6 months. CM Yogi had announced this announcement at the end of Mahakumbh and said to give 10-10 thousand rupees. It was announced to give this amount to the drivers and conductors doing duty in Mahakumbh 2025 held in Prayagraj.

Now on Tuesday, a bonus driver and conductors were given 10-10 thousand rupees from the Transport Department. 11,786 drivers and 12,285 conductors of this bonus were entitled, who got 10-10 thousand rupees of bonus. For this, the Yogi government gave 24 crore 71 lakh rupees to the Transport Corporation. Transport Minister Dayashankar Singh thanked this amount and thanked CM Yogi.

Most of the employees were from Lucknow

Transport Minister Dayashankar Singh said that by giving bonuses and doing such things, the enthusiasm of the drivers and conductors will increase. With this, the drivers and conductors will also be able to provide better facilities to the public. Along with this, he told that during Mahakumbh, duty was imposed from 19 areas of drivers and conductors. Of these, the maximum number of employees were 2162 from Lucknow and the lowest employee was 574's duty from Jhansi.

CM Yogi fulfills his promise

The Transport Minister encouraged the drivers and conductors and said that due to these, about 66 crore devotees were able to bathe in the Ganges and take a dip of faith. All these employees were engaged in bringing the devotees coming and going during the Mahakumbh to their destination. All these employees worked hard and honestly. In such a situation, CM Yogi fulfilled his promise and gave a bonus of 10-10 thousand rupees to the employees. Now CM Yogi Adityanath is deciding to give smartphones to the youth. A proposal has also been prepared regarding this.
