His book is published in the year 2025. In this, he further wrote that the successor will be born outside China. So that the China government cannot make them puppets. The Dalai Lama has said that his successor will be born in an independent country.

More than one lakh Tibetan Buddhists live in India. After China's possession of Tibet, India gave shelter to the Dalai Lama. He also allows the Tibetan government to work from Dharamshala and has always cooperated. Meanwhile, America has also extended the hand to help Tibetan people.

The US has shown commitment to the human rights of the Tibetan people and said that it would not allow China to choose the successor. In 2024, Biden also signed a law and pressured China to resolve the dispute related to Tibet.

What is the problem for China?

China says that it has inherited the right to choose the Dalai Lama's successor. The rebirth of the Dalai Lama should be decided under the National Act. However, this selection process of China considers Tibetan people a trick.

However, China wants to keep the right to choose the Dalai Lama in any way for its strong grip on Tibet. Regarding this, the Dalai Lama has said in his book that the people of Tibet should not accept the candidate chosen by anyone for their benefit.
