Suspended ADM Arvind Kumar Singh.
Arvind Kumar Singh, a 2012 batch Provincial Administrative Service (PCS) officer of Uttar Pradesh, has been suspended on the instructions of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. Arvind Kumar Singh, who was posted as Additional District Magistrate (Finance and Revenue) in Bijnor for the last three years, was transferred to Deoria on 30 May 2025. However, he did not join his new post, due to which the administration took strict steps against him.
According to government sources, this attitude of Arvind Kumar Singh was considered disregard and indiscipline. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, who is known for the zero tolerance policy against corruption and negligence, took the matter seriously and issued orders for immediate suspension. This action is being considered a major step towards maintaining discipline in bureaucracy and ensuring transparency in administrative work.
Arvind Kumar Singh had a three -year term in Bijnor, where he played many important responsibilities as ADM (FR), but after his transfer, he refused to take over his new responsibility in Deoria. Sources say that he was not ready to leave his existing chair, which the administration saw as “fascination for the post”. As part of the policy of not tolerating such indiscipline, the government took action against him.
Message of strictness of Chief Minister
