Another expressway is to be built to connect the Ganges and Yamuna Expressway. For this, the process of connecting the Noida Airport being built in Jewar in Uttar Pradesh through the Yamuna Expressway has intensified. For this, the work of marking the land of 74.3 km Green Field Link Expressway has been started. This expressway will pass through Gautam Budh Nagar and 56 villages in Bulandshahr. It will be connected to the Yamuna Expressway near Noida Film City.
The width of this expressway will be 120 meters. This expressway will be built on 44.3 km Ganga Expressway, while 24.8 km on Yamuna Expressway. It will start from Siana in Bulandshahr and end near Noida Sector-21 Film City. Earlier its length was 83 kilometers, but after the element of the route, preparations have been made to add it to the sector-21. After this element, the length of the route has reduced by about 8.7 kilometers.
4000 crores cost in expressway
The construction of this link expressway will include 8 villages of Gautam Budh Nagar, while 48 villages of Bulandshahr will be included. This project will be completed for about 4000 crores. After the marking of the land, the land acquisition work will be started. In such a situation, the Uttar Pradesh Expressways Industrial Development Authority (UPDA) has banned the purchase and sale of land under Yojana. Eupida said- If the land of Link Expressway is purchased and sold, then action will be taken against the officer concerned.
There will be direct connectivity from here
After the completion of Link Expressway work, the road to Noida International Airport, Delhi-Mumbai Expressway and Yamuna Expressway will become easier. After the construction of this expressway, there will be direct connectivity from Meerut to Prayagraj, due to which the use of Noida Airport will also increase. Apart from this, after the construction of Link Expressway, there will be direct connectivity from the industrial Sector-28, Sector-32, Sector-34 of Yamuna City, which will make it easier for cargo vehicles to reach the airport.
