A cabinet meeting was held on Wednesday (9 July) under the chairmanship of Dr. Mohan Yadav, Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh. Many important decisions were taken in this meeting. This includes many decisions including recruitment to about 50 thousand new regular posts in power distribution companies. The cabinet has waived Rs 84.17 crore of Rs 84.17 crore for 35 lakh farmers and waived interest and penalty. This scheme will remain till the year 2026 and all farmers will get a chance to deposit the amount of principal in one year.
In the cabinet meeting, the Use of Rs 1038 crore was approved by the cabinet meeting for the implementation of approved works for the year 2025-26 annual Plan of Operation for the Relationship Forest Planting Fund (Campa Fund). 80 percent of this amount is spent on the strengthening of forest and wildlife management and 20 percent forest and wildlife infrastructure.
The cabinet has decided to make special announcements on the occasion of Nishadraj Jayanti. On July 10, a two -day state level programs will be organized on Guru Purnima.
50 thousand posts will be recruited
In the cabinet meeting, it was decided that 49,263 new posts will be recruited in three power distribution companies of the state. This will remove the shortage of staff. At the same time, the current time will be extended to the quota of ongoing summer moong procurement. In this regard, a letter will be requested by writing a letter to the Central Government. Agricultural irrigation interest and punishment on water will be waived. This decision will provide economic relief to 35 lakh farmers and the state government will bear the expenditure of more than 84 crores.
Government's decision regarding Lake View Residency Hotel
Giving information about the decisions of the cabinet, Deputy CM Rajendra Kumar Shukla said that the government had already given approval to design the capital's Hotel Lake View Residency and hand over it on PPP mode on the basis of its operation, transfer. It has now been decided that the registration of lease and reimbursement of stamp duty will be done from the departmental budget. For investment promotion, it has been decided that any developer who comes will be given reimbursement facility.
Approval to open 66 new Anganwadi centers
In the cabinet meeting, the cabinet has also approved the approval to open 66 new Anganwadi centers in tribal areas and to construct Anganwadi buildings with the approval of posts in tribal areas under the Earth Aba Tribal Gram Utkarsh Abhiyan in the Women and Child Development Department. The posts of 66 Anganwadi workers, 66 assistants and two supervisors were also approved. Between 2025-26 and 2028-29, this scheme will cost Rs 19.91 crore.
Recruitment will be done for these posts
On behalf of the Council of Ministers, under the Directorate of Directorates, Local Fund Audit, approval has been given for the construction of a total of 07 assistant operators for the opening of local funds in 3 new Revenue Divisions Narmadapuram, Chambal and Shahdol and the construction of a total of 07 assistant operators for four newly formed districts Niwadi, Maihar, Mauganj and Padhurna. This decision has been taken to complete the audit of articles of Panchayat Raj institutions within the stipulated time limit and to ensure progressive action.
The decision to abolish the power purchasing contract executed for the purchase of power (5 or 10 percent) at the earlier variable rate (5 or 10 percent) in the past has decided by the Council to end the power purchases (5 or 10 percent) with the power developers or the subsequent company at the first variable rate (5 or 10 percent) with the subsequent company.
