Film 'Udaipur Files' made on Kanhaiyalal Sahu
Director Bharat S Srinet and producer Amit Jani together made a film on the ruthless killing of Udaipur tailor Kanhaiyalal Sahu. The film is scheduled to release in theaters on July 11. However, the opposition to this film started before its release. Now the statement of the director of this film has come out. He says that he is moving forward to release his film. The release of the film is not going to stop due to the controversy.
A petition has also been filed against the film on behalf of Muslim organizations Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind and All India Milli Council in Mumbai, Gujarat and Delhi High Courts. The director says that some people went to court against some films before, but nothing happened.
What else did the director of the film say?
In a conversation with TV 9, Bharat S Srinet said, “We are moving forward to release the film, because the censor board has approved the film.” When he was asked about whether the censor board had suggested the cut in the film, he said, “The censor board asked for 150 cuts and we accepted this thing and we are moving towards release.”
We are looking true- Bharat S Srinet
Bharat S Srinet further said, “Some people went to court against Kashmir files, Sabarmati report, but in reality nothing happened. People saw those films and appreciated.” When he was asked about why he chose a subject for the film, which is making people angry, “he said,” Because we are showing the truth and some people are only angry with a particular community. The subject was elected by my producer Amit Jani and I have completed it. I am honest. The film is a tribute to Kanhaiyalal Sahu. “
Kanhaiyalal Sahu was a tailor. He had a shop in Udaipur. In the year 2022, two people strangled the shop and killed him and also made a video of him. This film remains on the same story.
