For the well -planned development of Ghaziabad city, Ghaziabad Development Authority (GDA) is now taking steps towards further organizing the zone system. Under this initiative, each zone will be divided into small sectors, which will make it easier to provide monitoring and facilities. It will be started from Zone-1 as a pilot project, which is planned to be divided into four sectors. Let us tell you that there are a total of 8 zones in the GDA area.
The main objective of the pilot project is to ensure basic facilities like curbing illegal construction, cleanliness, street lights and garbage disposal. GDA Vice President Atul Vats said that under Zone-1, Rajnagar Extension, Nandagram and nearby villages come. By distributing them to four sectors, a special team can be deployed in each sector, which will increase transparency and accountability in development work.
Senior officials will do surprise inspection
This will clearly divide the responsibilities. Supervisor will be deployed for the sectors, who will visit the area every day and prepare the report. Junior engineers and assistant engineers will review these reports. Senior officials will also conduct surprise inspections and evaluate the real situation of the area. All facilities in the plan area will be provided in a planned and controlled manner. Illegal construction will be identified and action will be taken on it.
What did GDA Vice President Atul Vats say?
Cleanliness of each sector and regular monitoring will be done on the status of public services. GDA Vice President Atul Vats said that this experiment has been started in Zone-1 to develop Ghaziabad in a planned manner. On getting success, it will also be implemented in other zones. This initiative is considered a strong step towards the overall development of Ghaziabad city, which can become a model planning system in future. With this, the district will be able to develop better. This in itself can be a historical initiative.
