Surendra Kumar Mishra, the province minister of Vishwa Hindu Parishad, has sent a letter to the DDA engineer. In which he said that this work is not only against the declared policy of the Delhi government, but is also a gross insult to the feelings of Hinduism and devotees.

Kavad camp has been going on for the last 30 years

Surendra Mishra wrote in the notice that as we know you for thirty years, a Kanwar camp is set up near the temple. But this time, Kawad camp is being prevented from setting up here. He said that we have received a complaint from the temple that if we set up the camp, then 108 feet Shri Sankat Mochan Dham will have to deposit Rs 392, Rs 785 lakh. He said that till date, no money has been deposited for the Kanwar camp. He said that this temple is registered in Delhi government committee. Mishra said that asking for any such amount is against religion.

Demand to cancel the demand notice

The province minister said that this demand notice has been sent only because Kavad Seva Camp is being organized near the temple. He said that in such a situation, Kanwari will have trouble. He requested the Chief Engineer of DDA and said that this notice should be canceled and like previous years, this time Hanuman temple should be allowed to set up a Kavad camp. He said that disciplinary action should be taken against such officers. All the temples in Delhi should be provided free, uninterrupted support so that the Kavad Yatra can be completed with reverence and system.

Let me tell you, a few days ago, Delhi CM Rekha Gupta Kanwari had taken many important steps for the convenience of Kanwari. He had talked about providing free electricity facilities up to 1200 units in Kanwar camps. CM said that the government is making complete arrangements for toilets, in which 24 hours of cleaning workers will also be made available. There are welcome gates for Kanwari on the borders of Delhi. CM said that health teams will be deployed by the government in Kanwar camps and many facilities have been provided to traffic, police, so that there is no inconvenience to the Kanwadis.
