The saffron camp won all the nine seats in the Itat Cooperative Society elections in Sainthia. The ruling party of the state did not get a single seat. The Left also participated in the election, but, they have not got any seat. The BJP is seeing this victory in Sainthia as a big success before the assembly elections.
The total number of voters in Itt cooperative society is 928. BJP, Trinamool and Left parties participated in the elections. After the result was declared on Sunday, it was seen that the Trinamool and leftist parties could not leave any significant impact in these cooperative elections. BJP workers were happy after winning all seats.
BJP claims… BJP government in 2026
BJP wrote on Facebook post that awakening has started in Birbhum, BJP government in 2026! Ignoring the ruling party, BJP -backed candidates won 9 out of 9 seats in the Etahat Cooperative Society elections in Mayueshwar assembly constituency of Birbhum. Congratulations to all the winning candidates!
After the victory in the cooperative society, BJP President of Bolpur organizational district Shyamapad Mandal said, “The stronghold of Trinamool has been broken long ago. Now there is no support base of TMC here. Wherever votes were cast, it used the police. But, wherever people were able to vote, the Trinamool lost.”
TMC shocked before assembly elections
He further said, “Mayureshwar is a stronghold of the BJP in Birbhum district. We had full hope of winning all the seats. Trinamool leaders are doing a spectacle here in the name of politics, but not only here, wherever people will vote, BJP will win there.”
Birbhum is known as the hometown of former Trinamool District President Anubrata Mandal. In the Lok Sabha elections, Trinamool won all the two seats in this district. Then in the 2021 assembly elections, Trinamool Congress won 10 out of 11 seats in Birbhum. BJP won one seat. This election result has come before the assembly elections 2026 and the BJP's camp is very excited.
