Yogi government will change 11 heritage buildings and forts of UP in tourist places, picture of historical heritage will change the picture

The Yogi government of Uttar Pradesh has started efforts to give new life to the historical heritage of the state being converted into ruins. The tourism department is preparing to brighten the 11 old forts and buildings of the state. The department has invited a request proposal (RFP) for this through agencies. This work will be done under the Public-Private Partnership (PPP), where the agency will design, make, make money, run and submit it to the government later.

This initiative, which is going to start on the instructions of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, will not only save the history of these heritage forts and buildings, but local tourism will increase as well as thousands of people will also get employment directly and indirectly. The release on behalf of the state government states that the development of tourist destinations will give a boost to rural development. While people will also get a chance to know history closely.

This step of the Yogi government is also special because it will give a boost to modern development along with saving the cultural heritage of the state. According to the tourism department, this project will not only give a new look to these old buildings, but will also open new avenues of employment for the local people.

The Chief Minister has already taken many big steps to promote eco-tourism and religious tourism. These efforts of him are making UP a favorite destination of tourism in the country and the world. The government has implemented several schemes to bring major religious centers like Ayodhya, Kashi, and Mathura as well as other ancient temples and pilgrimage sites of the state to the global tourism map. In 2024 last year, 65 crore tourists visited various sites in Uttar Pradesh, which shows the success of these initiatives.
