In the final match of the Indian Premier League 2025, Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) won, after which he organized the Victory Parade on 4 June at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore. Many people arrived to attend this event. However, there was a stampede due to which 11 people died while more than 50 people were injured. The Karnataka government had formed an inquiry commission for this accident, which has blamed RCB in its report. Not only this, three more big names have also come out in it.

They were also accused

The judicial commission, who is investigating the stampede in Bengaluru, has submitted its investigation report to the Chief Minister of Karnataka Siddaramaiah. In this, Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA), Royal Challengers Bangalore, Bangalore Police and event organizers DNA Entertainment have been held responsible for the incident. According to the information, investigation conducted under the leadership of retired Justice John Michael D'Kunha found that there was great negligence at all levels. On Friday, July 11, the report submitted to Chief Minister Siddaramaiah told that it was an idea that it was not so easy to control people but despite this the event was organized.

There is a seating arrangement of less than 40000 people at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, but during the event, more than 2,50,000 people came here, due to which there was a stampede and many people had to face a lot of problems. The police force to control the event was also very low. But despite this, the event was not stopped.

The report will be given to the state cabinet on 17 July

This report will be given to the state cabinet on July 17, after which a decision will be taken regarding this matter. An FIR has already been lodged against RCB, KSCA and DNA Entertainment, while five senior police officers including former Bangalore Police Commissioner were already suspended.

Earlier, the Central Administrative Tribunal also held RCB responsible for this stampede. He believed that the franchise had not taken permission from the police before the event and that is why people had gathered at M Chinnaswamy Stadium. He also said that on the same day there was another state government event in Vidhan Saudha and for this reason a lot of police was deployed there.
