The world record that Vaibhav Suryavanshi broke, it was the fastest century in the Under -19 ODI. This record was earlier in the name of Kamran Ghulam of Pakistan. He scored a century off 53 balls in 2013. But after 12 years, now 14 -year -old Vaibhav Suryavanshi has broken that record recorded in the name of Pakistani player.

Vaibhav Suryavanshi said after scoring a century that he did not even know that he had broken any such record. According to Vaibhav, he got his information from the team manager. Vaibhav Suryavanshi's total inning was 78 balls, on which he scored 143 runs, including 10 sixes.
