School children climbing over the broken bridge with the help of bamboo ladder
In about a dozen villages of Khunti district of Jharkhand, school children are forced to go to school by risking their lives in the passion of studying and getting success in life. This is because about 15 days ago on the morning of June 19, a part of the bridge on the Banai river fell into the river on the main road.
Due to the collapse of this bridge, the employment of many people was lost, then the education of the children was missed, but in the meantime the villagers took the trick. Bamboo ladder was placed on the demolished bridge over the Banai river. School children, after risking their lives from the ladder of bass, about 20 to 25 feet high, go to school to study from below and study.

A video has also surfaced while climbing the bamboo ladder, in which it can be clearly seen how the children carrying their lives on their back are climbing the school bag on their back on the bamboo ladder. When the administration came to know about the children going to study with the help of bamboo ladder from this broken bridge, the ladder was removed from the immediate security point of view.
Villagers have to travel 12 km additional distance
Although now about a dozen villages including Jamtoli, Hasel, Palol, Mahil, Bachchana, Bandatoli, Saraidkel and Juradag have been deprived of the children of these villages and the villagers have to travel about 12 kilometers for the execution of their everyday needs and daily tasks. Let us know that on June 19, a red alert of rain was issued for half a dozen districts including Gumla, Simdega including Ranchi.
Bridge used to connect Khunti and Simdega district
Meanwhile, a part of the bridge on the Banei river broke and fell into the river amidst heavy rains. During this time a truck also fell into the river. It is worth mentioning that this bridge used to connect Khunti and Simdega district. There was no major accident due to the bridge breaking, but now it has become a wealth of the villagers.
