Not only India, now this car will blow up abroad
Mahindra has now launched its new sub-4 meter SUV XUV 3xo in the Australian market. Already this SUV has already become very popular in India and now the company is working towards making it a strong presence at the international level as well. In Australia, it has been introduced in two variants AX5L and AX7L. It will compete directly with vehicles like Cherry Tiggo 4, Mazda CX-3, Mg ZS, Kiya Stonic and Hyundai Venue.
Design and exterrears
The exterior design of XUV 3xo is similar to the model being sold in India. It provides C-shape LED DRLs, bold front grille and infinity style tail lamps. The AX5L variant has a 16-inch diamond cut alloy wheels while the AX7L variant has 17-inch alloy wheels.
Color option
The AX5L variant has the option of Everest White, Galaxy Gray, Stealth Black and Tango Red color. In the AX7L variant, exclusive citrus yellow color has been introduced at the place of Stent Black, which gives it a premium feel.
Features and Technology
The SUV is full of premium features. It provides modern features like 10.25-inch HD touchscreen, 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Apart from this, many luxury touchs like dual-zone climate control, leather rapped steering wheel and gear knob, electrically foldable ORVMs are also seen.
The AX7L variants also have some exclusive features such as Skiroof, Harmon Cardon's premium sound system, black ladrett seats, 360-degree camera and blind view monitor. Along with this, Adas features are also provided such as auto emergency braking, forward collahn -warning, adaptive cruise control and traffic sign recognition.
Engine and performance
The XUV 3xo in Australia has been launched with a 1.2-liter MStallion Turbo Petrol Engine, which generates 110 HP power and 200 Nm of torque. It has been paired with a 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox. In India, this engine also comes with manual gearbox.
Price and match
The AX5L variant is priced at AUD 23,490 (about ₹ 13.18 lakh) and AX7L AUD 26,490 (about ₹ 14.87 lakh). These prices are drive-ups, that is, they include tax, registration etc. everything. These prices are applicable till 31 August, after which the prices of both variants will be increased AUD 500.
These prices of Mahindra XUV 3xo make it the most economical and value-for-mani SUV in the Australian market. In the match, Cherry Tiggo 4 is priced at AUD 23,990, Mg ZS AUD 25,990, Kiya Stonic AUD 28,290 and Hyundai Venue AUD is 27,990.
