Railways made 'Gangnam Hut' with special technology
Indian Railways is continuously doing the work of rejuvenation and repairing the tracks of railway stations along with the convenience of passengers. At the same time, it is also moving forward with many new things. Railways has created 'Gangman Hut' (Gangman Hut) with the help of a 3D-priming machine at Parvatipuram railway station in Manyam district of Andhra Pradesh.
Railways has prepared this 'Gangnam Hat' in just 25 days with this 3D-primary technology. Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL), which works under the railway, has made this 'Gangnam Hut' of 100 square meters for track maintenors with the help of a 3D-printing machine at Parvatipuram railway station in Andhra Pradesh. Railways has mentioned this success in its post on social media platform x about this.

Railways' first 3D-printed building
Earlier, a statement issued by RVNL, a Navratna Public Sector Undertaking (PSU) under the Ministry of Railways on this 'Gangnam Hat', said, “This cutting age project is the first 3D-printed railway building of Indian Railways not only in Andhra Pradesh but in Indian Railways. Also gives them the basis of keeping their equipment and working. ”
It also further states, “To make this hut, it is traditionally made using a 3D concrete printer, a large robotic machine that prints the structure in the layers using a 3D concrete printer using a 3D concrete printer, using a spashalized concrete material. This structure spreads over 1,076 square feet (100 square meters). Is ready. “
Made of UHPC and lightweight concrete
Regarding the materials used in the manufacture of 'Gangnam Hut', RVNL said that the ultra-high performance concrete (UHPC) and lightweight concrete were used to increase strength, reduce weight and complete the construction process rapidly.
This house is located under the Waltaire Division of East Coast Railway Zone, where Parvatipuram PVP (PVP) station under construction Vijayanagaram (VZM)-Titlagarh (TIG) is part of the third railway line project. According to the statement issued by RVNL, “The purpose of this railway line is to increase the freight and passenger capacity in the areas of this railway line. Are. “
According to RVNL, this project will completely change the way the formation of infrastructure in the country, as it will create new opportunities for the widespread use of 3D printing in future station buildings, shelters, offices and homes outside the railways and outside.
