The special brief intensive revision campaign of the voter list in Bihar has created a huge chaos among the general public. The state has been stirred up across the state after the Election Commission has instructed all voters to fill the revision form and submit the necessary documents within 25 days. About 8 crore voters of the state are being included in this task, but due to limited time and complex demand of documents, many people are facing huge problems.

Joba Paswan and his family living here got the calculation form, but now they are worried about filling it and raising documents related to it. They only have Aadhaar card, ration card and voter ID, while the Election Commission is also demanding the birth certificate and residential certificate.
Flood for gathering documents
The situation is no different in other houses of this locality. In every street, only calculation forms and documents are being discussed. People are circling the block offices, but the employees there are demanding up to Rs 1000 for each certificate, due to which poor and middle class people are very upset.
The situation is worse at local Anganwadi centers. There is an atmosphere of chaos due to the huge crowd of people who reached there. Bundles of calculation forms are scattered on the ground, and women and men are all shocked to find a form of their name. In many places, they have lost their control till BLO (booth level officer).
Resentment among people due to the initiative of Election Commission
A woman Blo said, I do not even have all the papers, I am afraid that this time my name will be removed from the voter list. The situation is that from finding the form to submit the documents, the voters are feeling helpless at every stage.
People are angry with both the government and the Election Commission regarding this entire process. People say that there should have been more time and simple process for such a large exercise, otherwise a large number of people can take away the franchise. The purpose of this exercise of the Election Commission is to update the voter list, but in the current situation, this campaign has become a complex problem instead of simple process.
