China has done something in medical history, which has abolished all the boundaries of remote surgery. For the first time in history, Chinese doctors have done robotic surgery of patients present several kilometers away through satellite network. This robotic surgery was performed from Lhasa Hospital. The team of doctors has undergone surgery of two patients present in Beijing. This team is headed by Professor Rong Liu. A 68 -year -old liver cancer patient was operated. While the liver tumor of another 56 -year -old patient was removed. This surgery has taken about 2 hours. Both patients have been discharged from the hospital within 24 hours.

However, this is not the first time that the doctors of Chinese have done remote surgery by sitting several kilometers away. The first Chinese doctors have done this from this, but till now 5G network was used for this which had its limits. Therefore, remote surgery could only be done where there is a 5G network, due to which it could not be done in rural and backward areas, but now China has abolished all these borders through satellic technology. According to reports revealed from China, this surgery has been done through APSSTAR-6D satellite.

Surgery from 5000 km away

Lhasa Hospital was added to Shiyan Satellite Main Station through the first satellite. After this, signals were sent from here to Beijing Hospital via cloud server. This distance sits about 5000 km. This amazing feat of China is considered a new revolution in medical history. With this, remote surgery can be carried out in remote and backward areas. The most special thing in this technique was that the Apstar-6D satellite was used in it. A distance of about 5000 km was covered in this entire process.
