If you run an old car on the road, be careful
In Delhi-NCR, now a big ban has been implemented for diesel older than 10 years and petrol trains older than 15 years old. Petrol or diesel will no longer be put in such vehicles. Strictness has started against 'End-off-Life Vehicles' (EOL) in the capital from 1 July 2025.

80 vehicles seized
The report quoted an officer of the Transport Department as saying that 98 overseas vehicles were captured on camera on the first day and 80 of them were seized. The Transport Department seized 45 vehicles, while 34 Delhi Police and one Delhi Municipal Corporation (MCD) seized. According to Delhi Police, 24 vehicles were seized from the start of the campaign from 6 am to 1 pm on Tuesday.
Penalty will have to be paid so much
In Delhi, a tough stance has been taken against End-off-Life Vehicles in Delhi. According to the PTI report, if any old vehicle is caught at the fuel station, it will be confiscated immediately. Apart from this, the vehicle owner will also be fined.
Owners of four -wheeler old vehicles will have to pay a fine of ₹ 10,000, while ₹ 5,000 will be charged from those who hold two -wheelers, including toting and parking fee. Also, vehicle owners will have to deposit an undertaking in which it will be clear that they will neither drive nor park their vehicle in any public place, and take it out of Delhi border.
Vehicle will be confiscated
Enforcement agencies will take action every day to implement this campaign and send their report to the Environment Department and CAQM of Delhi. If an overseas vehicle is found to be parked in a public place, it will be seized and sent to the authorized scraping center (RVSF). If the vehicle owner wants to take his vehicle outside Delhi, it will be mandatory for him to take a no objection certificate (NOC) within a year from the date of completion of the fixed age of the vehicle.
Rules will be applicable in these districts 1 November
This rule in Delhi has come into force from 1 July 2025. At the same time, this rule will come under influence from November 1 in the five major districts of NCR – Gurugram, Faridabad, Ghaziabad, Gautam Buddha Nagar and Sonipat. Automatic number plate reader (ANPR) cameras are being installed at petrol pumps of these districts and this process will be completed by the end of October.
