Ajay Devgn is back as Jassi, and he’s bringing all the old-school swag, from the fields of Punjab to the streets of Scotland. The makers of Son of Sardaar 2 have now dropped the title track, and fans are loving the nostalgia. The song brings back Jassi’s vibe with energy, humour and drama, just like the first film.
Son of Sardaar 2 is the sequel to the 2012 hit and is set to release in cinemas on 25 July 2025. After a fun teaser, the title track has added to the buzz. Ajay’s bhangra steps, horse entry, and Punjabi swag are all back with a new twist.
Son of Sardaar 2 Title Track Brings Back Jassi Vibes
Sung by Romy and Sudhir Yaduvanshi, with music by Harsh Upadhyay and lyrics by Shabbir Ahmed, Khara, and Sukriti Bhardwaj, the song is full of desi energy. It’s shot in Punjab and shows Ajay’s full-on Jassi mode with pagdi, patiala and his famous horse-riding entry.
T-Series shared the song on YouTube and wrote, “Khatam ho gaya hai intezaar, Kyunki aa gaya hai title track of SON OF SARDAAR 2.”
Fans started sharing their reactions as soon as the song dropped online. One wrote, “Ajay sir ka tashan sab pe heavy.” Another said, “That Son of Sardaar sound is a next-level nostalgia.” A third added, “Yeh gaana aag laga dega.” Many also remembered the late actor Mukul Dev with love. The teaser gave a glimpse of Ajay doing a Phool Aur Kaante-style stunt between two tankers. Kubbra Sait dancing in the middle of a street in Scotland, and Mrunal-Ajay’s chemistry also stood out.
