The five-match T20I series between India and South Africa ended in a 2-2 draw. The last match of the series was canceled due to rain and the thrilling series had a disappointing end. With this, the dream of creating the history of India was shattered. (PTI)
Indian team has never been able to beat South Africa in T20 series. After losing the first two matches, as Team India came back, it was expected that the team would create history by winning in Bangalore but it could not happen. (PTI)
In 2015, the first T20 series was played between the two countries in India. At that time the captaincy of Team India was in the name of Dhoni. This series was won by South Africa 2-0. The last match of this series was canceled due to rain. (PTI)
In the year 2019 too, the series of three T20 matches between the two teams ended in a 1-1 draw. Team India, captained by Virat Kohli, won India in the first T20. The second T20 was not played due to rain, while the third match was won by South Africa. (PTI)
In the first match of the series, South Africa also snatched the chance of making Team India’s world record. India had won 12 matches in a row, after which they needed to win in the first T20 to set a world record. However, the visiting team defeated India in Delhi. (PTI)
