Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) Pakistan The indefinite ceasefire agreement signed with the government in June has been cancelled. Along with this, Taliban Pakistan has ordered its fighters to attack across Pakistan. The terrorist organization cited the ongoing operations against the Mujahideen and asked its fighters to carry out attacks wherever they want across the country. This warning of the terrorist organization has come when Pakistan Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa is about to retire.
The terrorist organization warned, military operations are being carried out against Mujahideen (militants) in various areas, so it becomes imperative for you to attack wherever you can across the country. The statement was issued a day after the England cricket team reached Pakistan after 17 years, while Army Chief General Bajwa is set to retire on Tuesday, 29 November.
The terrorist organization said that the army is continuously attacking
TTP is also known as Pakistani Taliban. TTP was formed in the year 2007 as a joint group of various militant organizations. The banned group said the decision to cancel the agreement was taken following frequent attacks by militia groups in Bannu and Lakki Marwat areas of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa province. The statement said that it warned people several times about the ceasefire violations, but still showed patience so that the dialogue process was not disrupted by it in the least.
It was said in the statement that the army and intelligence agencies did not stop the continuous attacks. Now our counter attack will start across the country. Till now no statement has come from the government and intelligence agencies on TTP’s statement. The Pakistan government had started talks with the TTP last year with the help of the interim government of Afghanistan, but no progress could be made.
