During the rescue in Turkey, the biggest problem is that many people are trapped alive in the debris. If any structure is demolished then the lives of those people can be in danger. Because of this, these dogs will sniff and tell where people are trapped in the debris.

After the devastating earthquake in Turkey-Syria, 70 countries have sent help to Turkey. Two teams of NDRF from India have started the rescue after reaching Turkey. The medical team has made its camp. People are being treated. The biggest problem facing the rescue work is to save the people buried under the debris. People are buried under multi-storey buildings. Many of them are alive too but it is difficult for the rescue team to identify them. Mexico is sending such special dogs to Turkey, which will immediately find the people buried under the debris.
Be it security or rescue. Loyal Dogs take the lead everywhere. Mexican special dogs are now being sent to Turkey as well. They will immediately smell and tell at which place people are buried under the debris. A plane with 16 dogs took off from Mexico City on Tuesday. Mexico itself is also a country prone to earthquakes. It has military teams which are often deployed to help in case of disaster. Dogs won the hearts of Mexicans during the 2017 earthquake in the country.

Malinois Echo with Navy Handler
Echo, a Belgian Malinois, was seen with her Navy handler at the airport in Mexico City. The group of highly experienced volunteers sent a message to Mexico’s Foreign Minister Marcelo Ebrard offering their help. Within hours, Ebrard replied that transportation had been arranged for him with the help of the Turkish embassy in Mexico City. The External Affairs Minister also posted a video of a Red Cross member boarding a plane with his four-legged companion.
Many countries are helping
Mexico is not the only country to send dogs to help with rescue efforts in Turkey and Syria. Croatia, Czech Republic, Germany, Greece, Libya, Poland, Switzerland, UK and USA are also sending dogs of special breeds. Animals are often used in areas where the use of heavy machinery can cause further debris to fall, putting the lives of survivors at risk. Dogs are trained to smell humans and alert by barking and scratching the ground where the smell is strongest.
