Russian President Vladimir Putin.
It has been three years since the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine, and Western countries, including the US, have imposed heavy restrictions on Russia. Despite this, a new report has surprised the world. These reports have been prepared by International Partnership for Human Rights (IPHR), Independent Anti Corruption Commission (NAKO) and Media Organization Hunterbook.
The report claimed that Russian fighter jets and arms are still being used by American companies. That too through such paths that do not even pay attention to anyone. The report has revealed how these parts are reaching Russia through third countries. So how were these restrictions of restrictions crossed? Who are the players of this hidden supply route?
American parts arrive by dodging the restrictions
After the attack on Ukraine, the US and its allies had put a shower of business and technical restrictions on Russia. The aim was to weaken the war-capacity of Russia. But this report claimed that Russia continued to gain Western technology through 'Intermediate Trade Route' i.e. third countries. This is the reason why electronic components of American companies are still getting in Russia's fighter jets and missile systems.
Composed by joint report of three institutions
These reports have been prepared by International Partnership for Human Rights (IPHR), Independent Anti Corruption Commission (NAKO) and media organization Hunterbrook. It has also been clarified in the report that no gauge work has been done by these American companies intentionally. These parts often reach Russia passing through many hands and countries, so the companies themselves do not know where their luggage is going.
Global supply chain mess
In today's era, the global supply chain is so complicated and spread that it is almost impossible to find out that a small chip or circuit will finally be in whose weapon. The report said that Russia has created a network to get these parts through many small Asian and Central Asian countries. Due to which there is no direct violation of American restrictions, but the motive is fulfilled there.
