Prime Minister Modi reached Brazil.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has reached Brazil on a four -day visit, during which he will attend the 17th BRICS summit and will visit a state. The Prime Minister was welcomed on Saturday evening (local time) on arrival at Rio de Janeiro at Galio International Airport. This is the fourth phase of his visit to five countries.
PM Modi said in a post on X that I landed in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, where I will attend the BRICS Summit and later I will go to his capital Brasilia for the state visit at President Lula's invitation. A productive round of meetings and conversations during this trip is expected.

Committed to BRICS partnership
Foreign Ministry spokesman Randhir Jaiswal said in the X post that BRICS committed to partnership! Prime Minister Narendra Modi reached Rio de Janeiro, Brazil for the 17th BRICS summit. Prime Minister arrived here from Argentina, where he held extensive discussion with President Xavier Mil and agreed to increase diversity in bilateral trade and increase cooperation in defense, important minerals, pharmaceutical, energy and mining sectors.
PM Modi will go to Brasilia from Brazil
During his visit, PM Modi will attend the BRICS summit at Rio de Janeiro on July 6 and 7, followed by a state visit, for which he will go to Brasilia. This will be the country's first bilateral visit by an Indian Prime Minister in about six decades. BRICs consisting of Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa have been expanded with five additional members: Egypt, Ethiopia, Iran, Saudi Arabia and UAE.
PM Modi will meet many world leaders
PM Modi said that as a founding member of BRICS, India is committed to this block as an important platform for cooperation among emerging economies. He said that together we try for a more peaceful, equitable, democratic and balanced multi -polar world system. During the summit, Modi will meet many world leaders. PM Modi visited Ghana, Trinidad and Tobago and Argentina as part of a visit to five countries. He will visit Namibia in the final stages of his tour.
