On 22 April 2025, tourists were attacked by terrorists in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir. 26 people died in this attack. Many people were injured. This incident shook the entire country and outrage against Pakistan across the country. Taking strict action on this terrorist attack, the Modi government launched Operation Sindoor. Under this, the Indian Army carried out a rage on Pakistan's military and terrorist bases. After which there was a stir in Pakistan.
The Pakistani army was scared due to the attacks carried out by India. Pakistan's army could not understand how to respond to India's deadly attacks. This was revealed by Rana Sanaullah, advisor to Pakistan Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif himself.
Rana Sanaullah said that when India had fired the BrahMos cruise missile, the Pakistan Army had only 30-45 second time to find out if there is a nuclear weapon in the upcoming missile. He said that the threat of nuclear war had increased during the India-Pakistan struggle. Which started after the ruthless killing of 26 tourists by terrorists in Pahalgam.
It was just 30 to 45 seconds
Sanaullah said during a conversation with a Pakistani news channel, when India fired the BrahMos missile towards Noor Khan Airbase, the Pakistan Army had only 30 to 45 seconds to decide whether the missile has a nuclear weapon or not. In such a short time, taking such important decisions could create a very dangerous situation.
He further said, I am not saying that India did something good by not using nuclear weapons. However, it is also possible that it was misunderstood by Pakistan, due to which nuclear weapons were launched, and this one step could have become the beginning of the global nuclear war.
Pakistan's destruction in satellite image
Noor Khan Airbase, which is located in the Chaklala region of Rawalpindi, is considered a major airbase of the Pakistan Air Force. Many Pakistani air bases were targeted under the 'Operation Sindoor' conducted by India recently. In this campaign, the runway, hangers and important buildings suffered serious damage, causing a major setback to Pakistan. The satellite image saw heavy devastation on major airbases like Sargodha, Noor Khan (Chaklala), Bholari, Jackbad, Sukkur, and Rahim Yar Khan.
Accurate attacks on military bases inside Pakistan
This was not the first time India targeted Noor Khan Airbase. During the 1971 war, 20 squadrons of the Indian Air Force made a tremendous attack on the airbase with their hacker Hunter aircraft. Recently, under Operation Sindoor, the Indian Army destroyed many locations of terrorist organizations like Lashkar-e-Taiba Jaish-e-Mohammed and Hizbul Mujahideen.
In response to the campaign in the night conducted by India, the Pakistani Army fired drones and missiles towards the western areas of India, which was successfully deactivated by the Indian security forces. After this, India retaliated and made accurate attacks on some military locations inside Pakistan. After which after four days of struggle, the two countries agreed to the ceasefire by stopping military actions with immediate effect.
