China as fast as i corona virus In view of the cases coming to the fore, the Central Government has also been alerted. Guidelines regarding Corona have also been issued in almost all the states of the country. Along with this, all people are being asked to follow corona restrained behavior. Meanwhile, the COVID panel of the Center Major NK Arora said today that there is no need to panic due to the latest outbreak of Corona in China. There are not one but 4 variants of the virus, due to which the cases of corona are increasing.
Amidst the alarming situation regarding Corona in China, NK Arora said that India is preparing only as a “precaution” because information is not coming openly and quickly from China. However, it is also clear that the China outbreak is due to a cocktail of viruses, which behave differently due to local epidemiology.
Most cases of BN-BQ variant: Arora
He said, “The BF.7 variant is responsible for 15 percent of the cases. While the maximum number of cases i.e. 50 percent are from BN and BQ series, and only 10-15 percent cases are from SVV variant.
He says, “This is the thing where India benefits from this because the “hybrid immunity” has become strong here. Vaccination done here and during the first, second and third wave of Corona in the country, people were infected on a large scale, due to which there has been a good combination of immunity.
Indians immunity strengthened: Arora
Arora told NDTV in a special conversation, “They are weak in this matter in China. They have not been exposed to the virus before, and the vaccine they have been given is probably less effective. I must tell you that most of them were given three to four doses. “In comparison, 97 percent of Indians got two doses of the vaccine, many people got corona infection more than once. Even children are safe as at least 96 per cent children below the age of 12 have been exposed to Covid.”
NK Arora said that the reaction that is happening in the country right now is “retrospective and hyperactive, because nothing is clear about the current situation in China. The situation is not clear regarding the number of corona cases, the seriousness of the cases, the status of vaccination and then the different variants running there.
