The UAE government has made it clear that UAE visas of Pakistanis who are depriving their children of education will not be renewed again. The UAE government has said that it is determined to strictly enforce its laws regarding obtaining visas for Pakistanis under the age of 18.
UAE Ambassador to Karachi Ateeq Al Remithi on Monday fueled the issue when in an interview to Geo News he referred to the UAE’s 2016 federal law on child rights and said that tougher measures will be taken regarding visas. . The ambassador said that these UAE laws define the right of children to education.

Ambassador said – the law should be strictly implemented
He further said that a large number of people in Pakistan are depriving their children of the right to education by making them sit at home. The ambassador said that the government has taken tough decisions in this regard and several meetings have already taken place. He said that this rule related to the rights of children of families living in the UAE should be strictly implemented.
Call to protect the rights of children
UAE ambassador said that education of children is very important. In such a situation, the UAE government has decided to take strict action against such people who are violating the laws protecting children. He said that the old law is for Pakistanis who have UAE’s work or residence visa.

Al-Remethi urged expatriate Pakistani parents living in the UAE to ensure their children’s education and protect their rights. He also told that the population of Pakistanis in UAE is around 16-17 million.
